Coach — Dakota Flesner (second season, 18-19 career record)
Last year’s record — 18.19
Returning letterwinners — Gracie McDowell, sr., MH; Hannah Wood, sr., OH; Kendra Johnson, sr., S
Promising newcomers — Halee Wood, so., OH; Karli Artman, so., S; Megan Harrell, fr., MH
Outlook — The Chargers lost two of their best players to graduation and will be one of the shortest teams around, but have plenty of experience back from last year's regional championship team. If the Chargers can generate enough offense and play solid defense, another run at a regional title could be in the offing.
Coach — Alicia Anderson (seventh season)
Last year’s record — 18-14
Returning letterwinners — Corinne Booton, sr., MH/DS; Lacey Bigger, sr., S/RS; Caitlin Good, sr., DS; Megan Schaley, so., OH/DS
Promising newcomers — Mady Reed, so., OH/DS; Jessica Smith, jr., S; Emily Johnson, sr., MH
Outlook — The Heat may not have a lot of height, but they make up for it by playing hard and playing as a team. The Heat have all the pieces to put together another winning season, be a factor in the Lincoln Trail Conference race and make a run at a regional championship.
Coach — Charles Bolton (sixth season, 39-113 career record)
Last year’s record — 6-25
Returning letterwinners — Gracie Boyes, Madisyn Andrews, Bailey Hollis, Madison Huls, MacKenzie Harman, Anna Walker, Alyson McMillen, Alvie Jacquot
Promising newcomers — Reagan Eaves, Emma Casey
Outlook — The Titans also will be short in stature, but hope to make up for it with plenty of depth. If they can find enough offense from the outside, the Titans should be competitive in most matches this season as they continue to build.
