The Van Meter volleyball team is looking to get back to their winning ways after falling in five sets to Earlham last time out .

The Bulldogs feel behind in the first two sets losing 25-15 and 25-20 before claiming the next two sets 25-18 and 25-22. It was in the decisive set five that the Bulldogs faltered 15-9.

Despite the loss there were some impressive performances including Keslie Van Pelt who paced the team in kills with nine. Lindsey Golwitzer put up another great assist night adding 26 more to her total while also adding in 18 digs to the cause. The digs leader however, was sophomore Emma Braun who led the way with 23.

The loss unfortunately marked four losses in the past five games but Van Meter looks to turn their tides around at home tonight. They will be back in the comforts of their home court, taking on an Ogden team the Bulldogs have defeated in the last five meetings, dating back to the 2014 season. The march back into the win column begins at 7 p.m.
