The ADM boys soccer team produced a heavy dose of offense Monday night in an 11-1 rout over conference foe Boone in Boone.

The Tigers used extreme ball possession to dominate the contest and keep the ball inside Boone territory for all but ten percent of game time. It was a scoring by committee approach for ADM as Braidon Lee, Justin Annear, Josh Pike Davis Coppinger, Wade Forret, and Bryce Holm all pitched in at least one goal. Braidon Lee did the honor of touching up three goals in the game, giving him six goals for the season so far.

Justin Annear and Josh Pike also poured in multi-goal nights with a pair of goals each, giving them six and seven goals for the season respectively. Pike’s night was one of the bigger highlights of the night with two goals, two assists, and a team-best six points. Pike managed six shots on goal and seven shots total for the night. Annear’s night consisted of those two goals on two shots on goal with five shots total. Overall, Annear totaled four points for the game.

The strong shooting game was fueled by a great assist night for the Tigers. Maddox Artzer, Justin Schumacher, and Grant Garton each had two assists, helping to mark a season-high in assists for ADM.

Defensively, ADM didn’t have to worry too much defensively especially with Conner Chappell in front of the net. The senior swatted away two would be goals, giving him six total saves on the season. Overall, the win gives ADM a 4-1 record, marking the third time in four seasons that ADM boys soccer has started the first five games with one loss or less.

The Tigers will hit the road once again for their next outing which will take them to Grimes to face off against former conference foe Dallas Center0-Grimes on Thursday, April 11. Game start will begin at 7 p.m.
