Waukee Crime Stoppers seeking information on possible arson

A reward of up to $500 is available for anyone who can provide Waukee Crimes Stoppers and the Waukee Police Department any information leading to an arrest in a possible arson case.

A fire was reported at about 5:45 a.m. on Monday, Aug. 14 at 550 Northeast Brookshire Drive in Waukee. According to a news release from Waukee Crime Stoppers, an unknown suspect, or suspects, set fire to the interior of the house.

The release states that it appears that a fire was started the night before on Aug. 13 by the same suspect, who returned on Aug. 14 and started the second fire at 550 Northeast Brookshire Drive. The fire caused extensive property damage.

Waukee Crime Stoppers will pay the reward of up to $500 for information leading to the arrest of the suspect(s) in the case.
