Here's what you need to know about Waukee's new Northwest High School
After years of planning and construction, Waukee's Northwest High School will officially welcome students through its doors Tuesday for the first day of school.
For some students, the first day will be a transition from Waukee High. Others will be entering their next phase of learning in a high school younger than themselves.
The district's newest campus is equipped with classrooms, extensive athletic facilities and spaces for the arts and music rehearsals and performances.
