Tigers close out regular season with a win

The Tigers finished the regular season on Friday, Feb. 13 and will head into the Regional Tournament on a winning note. They defeated Bondurant-Farrar in Bondurant by a score fo 56-43.

The Tigers were only outscored in one quarter, the third when they were outscored 13-12. They outscored the Bluejays in the first quarter 11-7, in the second 14-10 and in the fourth 19-13 though.

A-D-M sophomore Sydney Bertman led the way with a double-double, recoring a team-high 17 points and a team-high 10 rebounds. She also tied for a team high with 4 assists and made one block.

Bertman was 8-of-10 from the field while grabbing five rebounds on each end of the court against the Bluejays.

Brianna Mueller, a junior, was also in double figures in the scoring column with 14 points on a 7-of-15 shooting performance. She also pulled down five rebounds.

Molly Jacobsen, a junior, had five rebounds in addition to nine points as she hit 1-of-4 3-point attempts and was 3-of-10 from the field. Allie Cook, a sophomore, and Emily Hofmann, a senior, each had four assists in the game.

The Tigers opened Regional play on Wednesday, but the score between the Tigers and Carroll was unavailable before the Dallas County News went to press.
